No wonder then that Branston has been able to develop such a close and long-standing partnership with the UK’s largest retailer, Tesco.

Branston was established in 1969 but its partnership with Tesco began. Since then, business has just got better and better. Today, the company represents 66% of Tesco fresh potato sales and supplies 255,000 tonnes of the highest quality product every year. 200,000 tonnes come from Branston's own sites in Lincolnshire, Somerset and Scotland, with a further 55,000 tonnes produced by its Tesco alliance partner, QV Foods.

So it comes as no surprise that Branston's business focus is firmly on Tesco and its customers. But to make sure the company also gives its loyal growers the best service, a further 110,000 tonnes are marketed other outlets, including processors and food service companies.
