The Longhurst Group is the parent company of seven dynamic group of housing service companies.

Established in 2001, with just two member companies - Longhurst Homes and Spire Homes (formerly East Northamptonshire Housing - the Longhurst Group has grown rapidly and now has over 15,000 homes and employs some 1,000 people.

As well as the founding companies, the Longhurst Group also comprises Havelok Homes in Grimsby and Friendship Care and Housing in Birmingham. The Group also owns Keystone Developments, which specialises in building homes for the over 55s. Longhurst Group’s charitable organization: Home from Home provides interim accommodation for people when their own homes are being adapted or updated.

The Group’s aim is to ensure members achieve efficiencies by working together, sharing resources and skills and delivering the best possible service to all of its customers and stakeholders.
