/ Lava Makes emda's five
Lava has secured a prestigious place on the East Midlands Development Agency's roster of approved public relations consultancies.
The Lincoln-based consultancy is just one of five consultancies eligible to undertake PR projects for emda. Eighteen month old Lava is the youngest of the five agencies and the only Lincolnshire consultancy to feature on the roster.
"This is a fantastic accolade for Lava. We're the youngest agency to feature on the roster and the only one from Lincolnshire," said Lava's Director Matt Hammerton. "Being just eighteen months old, we're the new kid on the block in terms of East Midlands' PR and we're delighted that we've managed to develop an offer that is appealing to organisations such as emda in such a short space of time."
Lava will assist emda's in-house PR department, devising and implementing creative compelling communications campaigns for a variety of projects designed to publicising projects designed to increase the economic growth of the region while reducing disparities between the East Midlands and other English regions.
emda's key role is to be the strategic driver of sustainable economic development. It works in partnership with public, private and voluntary organisations to deliver the goals of the Regional Economic Strategy, which it produces on behalf of the region — which is why emda is the catalyst for change in the East Midlands.
