Branston Ltd has strengthened its board with the appointment of Barry Nicholls as Non Executive Director.

Mr Nicholls (61) joined the UK’s leading supplier of potatoes in an advisory capacity last month.

Formerly Chief Executive of Milk Link Ltd, Mr Nicholls brings a wealth of business experience to Branston, particularly in sales and marketing.

“We’re delighted that Barry is joining our team,” says Branston’s Managing Director Graeme Beattie. “He brings with him a wealth of experience and his detailed knowledge of sales, marketing and the food industry will be invaluable to us as we look to continue our impressive growth over the coming years.”

Mr Nicholls began his career in advertising before undertaking a variety of marketing positions with several organisations, including St Ivel and Hazlewood Foods where he was Commercial Director of the Grocery Division. As well as his role at Branston, Mr Nicholls is also a Director of English Farming and Food Partnerships and Chairman of The Dairy Council.
