The brand new RM 200 and 400 models of the Robomow® robotic mowers will be demonstrated at the Kent Garden Show this coming Bank Holiday weekend (24 – 26 May). The show, which takes place at the Kent Showground, Detling, near Maidstone, expects around 45,000 visitors.
Designed specifically for the smaller urban garden, the new models will be on the Medway Mowers stand (No: B427, between Entrances 4 and 5). Equipped with all the features you would expect from a top of the range model, the RM 200 and 400 are simple to install, easy to programme and do all the mowing for you.
Because of its innovative mulching design feature, there are no clippings to collect up as these are mulched back into the grass roots, providing essential nutrients for a healthy lawn.
Exhibiting at the show for the first time, Medway Mowers, based at Rochester, is owned by Paul Squibb. “I took over the business last year,” he said. “Having been a visitor to the Kent Garden Show previously it’s the perfect place to demonstrate the Robomow®.
“The machine looks good and I wanted to be one of the first retailers in Kent to have the range on sale. I’m very excited about it and know the demonstrations will attract a lot of interest among the visitors.”
Manufactured by Friendly Robotics and distributed in the UK by Mower-Magic.co.uk, the RM series offers an amazing array of technologically advanced features within the most compact Robomow® ever produced.
A major feature is the mower’s rain sensor; it will stop mowing if there is significant rainfall during a scheduled cut. However, the inclusion of a programmable drying time will mean the RM models are regularly checking for rainfall and will resume the cut when it is dry enough to do so.
The RM200, which can mow up to 250m2, requires a recharge after an impressive 2½ hours of mowing whilst the RM400, which can mow up to 400m2, comes with a docking station. Simply connected to the mains and placed close to the lawn, the RM400 will return to its docking station for charging when needed.
