Roca UK, one of the leading manufacturers and designers of bathroom products, has exchanged its traditional employee leave and absence management system for a more efficient online alternative.
Roca UK has switched its 60 employees from a paper based system to e-days. The new e-days system, allows staff to request holiday and report absences quickly and easily. Managers are also able to access all the information they need speedily. By eliminating the need for a complex person to person approval system, e-days allows a faster turn round and greater accuracy in holiday and training allocation.
Based on industry demands the online booking system uses a series of automatic and person based checks to ensure that absence and holiday requests conform with the company’s needs, whilst reducing administration time.
“Having looked at several alternative systems we found that e-days offered the ideal combination of ease of use and functionality” says Daryl Ryan, Product and Marketing Co-ordinator at Roca UK “By using e-days we can ensure that our employees and management teams have instant access to relevant information and that we don’t put any extra strain on our existing resources.”
